What is Energy Healing?

Energy Healing is a term used to describe a number of modalities that facilitate the movement and release of energy within an individuals’ energy field in order to produce a relaxing and healing effect in the body. The techniques used by High Vibe Heather include, but are not limited to: Human Design, Reiki, Emotion Code, Body Code and Solfeggio Sound Healing. 

What is Human Design?

Human Design is a system for understanding the unique energetic makeup of an individual. It is not a belief system but rather founded upon scientific and spiritual principles. To find one’s unique Human Design, information is entered into a calculator. The results are then shown in the form of a Human Design Bodygraph that is analyzed and interpreted by the practitioner on behalf of the client in order to assist the client in understanding how to best support oneself in moving through life.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by utilizing healing touch, which can be transmitted either locally or from a distance, and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy is low, then one is more likely to experience illness or stress. If it is high, one is more capable of feeling relaxed, happy and healthy. 

What is Emotion Code?

Emotion Code is an energy healing technique for releasing emotional energy trapped in the body. Through this method, the practitioner connects with the client's subconscious mind in order to determine the emotion that is ready to be released. The practitioner then assists the client in releasing the emotional energy in order to provide relief.

What is Body Code?

Body Code is an energy healing technique for decoding and correcting energetic imbalances in the body. Through this method, the practitioner connects with the client's subconscious mind in order to determine the energetic imbalances that are ready to be decoded and corrected. The practitioner then assists the client in correcting the imbalance in order to provide relief.

What is Solfeggio Sound Healing?

Solfeggio Sound Healing is an energy healing technique that incorporates the use of tuning forks that when struck play sounds at specific healing frequencies. These sounds are played for the client by the practitioner assisting the client in reorganizing matter to create more harmony inside the clients energy field.

Your Practitioner

Heather O’Donnell, referred to in this contract as “High Vibe Heather” is a certified Reiki Master, certified Human Design Consultant, certified Solfeggio Sound Healer and certified Emotion Code Practitioner. Heather is operating under Oregon’s “educational licensing exemption” under ORS 675.825(4)(a), which allows alternative practitioners and counselors to practice legally in Oregon without a license.

Nature of the Energy Healing Treatments

Reiki utilizes the theory that the healing energy is transmitted through the  practitioner’s hands to promote energy balance, improving the overall healing of the client. The client can expect to be fully clothed in a lying or sitting position and will experience the transmission of healing energy either locally through light touch, if touch is consented to by the client,  or virtually. Reiki can help achieve emotional balance and inner peace.and may also help one develop a stronger sense of self and an overall improved mood. Results may vary for individuals. Therefore, a specific outcome cannot be guaranteed.

In a Human Design analysis and consultation, the client receives verbal and/or written information from the practitioner based on the practitioner's understanding and interpretation of the Human Design system. Human Design may help develop a stronger sense of self and more ease in moving through life. Results may vary for individuals. Therefore, a specific outcome cannot be guaranteed.

Emotion Code provides a framework for deciphering, acknowledging and releasing unprocessed emotional energy that has become trapped in the clent’s body. With client’s consent, the practitioner connects with the client’s subconscious mind and guides the client through a series of questions using a pendulum to ascertain the answers found in the clients’ subconscious mind to decipher the emotional energy that is ready to be processed and released from the client’s body. Emotion Code may bring improvements to ones’ mood, level of comfort, relationships and outlook on life. Results may vary for individuals. Therefore, a specific outcome cannot be guaranteed.

What Energy Healing is Not

Energy Healing is not psychology, psychiatry or medicine and the practitioner is not a licensed physician, psychologist, or psychiatrist. Energy Healing is intended to be a complement to traditional Western medicine provided by doctors, nurses, and other licensed medical professionals. If you believe you are ill, please see a licensed medical professional prior to beginning Energy Healing treatment.

Client certifies that they do not suffer from any physical or mental disability that may affect their participation in the services with the practitioner and if they have a mental or physical illness, they have consulted with their health care provider and have been advised they may participate in the services by the practitioner. 

Client agrees if there is any change in representation, the practitioner will be promptly advised. Client is responsible for creating and implementing their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, decisions and results. Therefore, the client agrees that the practitioner is not and will not be liable for any actions or inactions or of any direct or indirect results of the services provided by the practitioner.

The practitioner makes no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied. In no event will the practitioner be liable to the client for consequential or special damages.The client agrees that in the event of any claim or grievance against the practitioner, the sole remedy will be the return of the fees paid. The practitioner is not responsible for any direct, indirect or incidental or consequential damages beyond the total amount of fees paid by the client.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & CONSENT TO RECEIVE SERVICES  

1. I have read Client Information and understand the above guidelines and disclosure about the treatments and techniques offered by High Vibe Heather as well as her training.
2. I understand that High Vibe Heather is not a licensed physician and that the alternative services I will be receiving are not licensed nor required to be licensed in the State of Oregon.
3. I have discussed any concerns I have with the practitioner about the nature of the treatment I will be receiving.
4. I will immediately inform the practitioner if I experience any discomfort during the session(s).
5. I acknowledge that long-term imbalances in the body may require multiple sessions in order to facilitate the level of relaxation needed by the body to heal itself.
6. I understand that it is my responsibility to maintain a relationship for myself and/or my child with a medical doctor.
7. I understand that Energy Healing is not a substitute for medical treatment or medications. I am aware that High Vibe Heather does not diagnose illness or disease nor does she prescribe medications or recommend supplements. I understand that any suggestions that are provided to me should not be taken as a diagnosis or recommendation against the advice of a licensed physician or mental health professional.
8. I have consented to the use of services offered by High Vibe Heather and I agree to be personally responsible for her fees in connection with the services provided.
9. I understand Energy Healing may include light touch on the body if performed locally. By signing below, I agree to receive light touch from the practitioner.
10. I understand I may be asked to work with the practitioner’s apprentice and will be notified of this before the session. If I do not choose to work with an apprentice, I will notify the practitioner immediately.
11. I understand if I cancel or reschedule my appointment with less than 24 hours notice, I will be charged 50% of the appointment/class/workshop fee.
12. I understand High Vibe Heather does not offer refunds.
13. Privacy Notice: No information about any client will be discussed or shared with any third party without written consent of the client or parent/guardian if the client is under 18.
